Choice

I've come to discover that life is full of choices. It's a bit like a game of Solitaire Klondike, where you have the ascending stack of unturned cards, and suddenly you turn two red 7's but only one black 8. From which row do you pull the number 7? When you do that you're making a choice, and hoping that by revealing the next card, it will be one that completes a sequence and brings you another step closer to completing the deck. But if you pick the wrong number 7, and the first unknown card is one you cannot utilise, you're screwed.

I've noticed this because my success rate on Solitaire Klondike on my phone is abysmal, something of the order of 10%. Pathetic! But half of it is luck, really... or is it strategy?

If I really wanted to, I could undo every move and pick the other row, but where's the fun in that? I think we all need to go wrong here and there before we can get it right. And hopefully, with a bit of luck, that can be sooner rather than later.

I most probably have no readers but hey, someone may come across this in future and admire my fantastic words. Readers, thankyou.

People of the Internet,

I've just gotten a blog. How damn exciting. I have no idea what i'll write up here, perhaps i'll make some posts via my nokia e71 on my hourly trips to and from work everyday, since the bus rides are so damn boring.

Music is fantastic lately.. August was such a dry month on Beatport for me, but September is shaping up to be great. Its only going to get better now as the big Artists get off their summer tours and back into the studios.

Speaking of which, I ought to get mine sorted. Got a MicroKontrol Korg here ready to be heavily utilised.
